If your child is like most, chances are they don’t look forward to a trip to the doctor or dentist. In our experience, an anxious child, or, for that matter, a child who just plain doesn’t want to be there is not an ideal patient.

Knowing this, we try do everything we can to surround the child with things to keep their mind off of the real reason they are visiting our office in the first place. They feel more at ease, are more cooperative and get a more complete examination. Everyone wins.

To ensure maximum cooperation, our office is not like the dentist office we went to when we were kids. We don’t have the cold plastic chairs that seem to now be standard in all medical offices. But, we do have video game consoles for them to play with while they’re waiting for Dr. Sandor to see them.  We have even gone so far as to have flat LCD monitors above each cushy dental chair for them to watch while the actual examination is taking place.

Our philosophy of safety and comfort for children extends right to the technologies we use for photographing and shaping teeth. With our Computerized Digital X-Ray system, radiation exposure can be reduced by 50 to 90%.

In fact, parents might wish there had been a Naples Pediatric Dentistry when they were kids! Well, we can't help with that. But it is a comfort to know that when your children are with us, they will be treated with the best and most innovative technologies available.
